That’s because southerners have some damn sense. Porches are designed for
sitting on, enjoying the breeze (or not), and visiting with neighbors. Fucking
idiot mid-westerners sit in the DAMN NO-BREEZE fucking garage. Mid-westerners are
idiots.

Love Ms. Moon. Yes I agree with you. I "live" on my porch in the summer because that is where life happens.Plus I can have a fan if the breeze is lacking.Your fan from Alabama.
I think porches are a wonderful thing down here. And even the piazzas that are in Charleston and Savannah are totally designed to catch the sea breeze. Who wants to sit in a garage?
Pa has garage sitters as well. I once went to a picnic that took place in the garage even though the day was beautiful and they have a great yard. We couldn't even hear ourselves think do to the poor acoustics of cement floors and walls.
