I loved Lou very much. He is irreplaceable, and he wrote my favorite song of all time, "Sweet Jane." I cried over my coffee this morning. God speed, Lou. And Laurie, I am thinking of you. You do not grieve alone.

Owen is struggling with the concept of dying right now. He is becoming aware that we all die. He went from telling me yesterday that he will miss me so much when I die to crying because someday HE will die himself.
I'm not sure we ever accept the fact of it.
I hope that Lou Reed had a peaceful passing and that his wife will be sustained through her grief.
I know. Sad to hear about Lou. Such a talented guy.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Yes, I believe it was liver failure. I hope they progress on the liver transplant thing soon. At the rate I'm going, I may need one myself.
