sigh - I confess I got a bad braided do once. ONCE! the first tropical trip we did. Although the lady did a really great job, my head was an unsuitable choice of art medium. A girl from Sweden summed it nicely in her broken English: It looks funny.

I had very long hair about ten years ago but would not have even contemplated those woven braids.
You know, the funny thing about this picture to me is that really- they are fine looking people. And yet- since they are white people on vacation, they felt the need to be ridiculous. And have a photo made of the successful result.
Why?
The Jamaicans wanted to give me a braid in my 1/2inch hair...no way!
That gene pool needed a LOT more chlorine!
