Hard to believe this stuff still goes on in this day and age. I remember reading about this young woman's death and being horrified. Here is a link to a lengthier article on her murder by her father.

We've had a few of these here too. You just have to wonder how people can hold on to beliefs like this in a modern culture.
Sadly enough children die daily from the abuse of the grown ups beating the crap out of them...
Not only by Muslim families under the name of honor killings... It happens in all races and all over the world: there are always some grown ups cowardly enough to tackle someone smaller or weaker then them... Sucks big time!
