I think some guys just really like to snuggle with someone very soft. My best friend as a teen was pretty tubby for the times (she'd be quite "normal" these days) and it always surprised me when guys went for her over me because I was hot. The one guy, I'd crushed on for years - and all the women he went for were chubby - including the one he married.
