Morrissey, When Asked Whether He Has a Mobile (Cell) Phone
No. I hate the way they ring, and when I see people use them in public I feel repulsed by that. I find it such an invasion. And also, I don't want to be tracked down and almost monitored every second of the day.

Valid points every one. I resisted cell phones and generally forget to charge mine. Oops.
Good for him. Although, I do carry one and probably would be lost without it. Literally, because it has a GPS built in.
I know how he feels.
Ah-yah. I have a cell phone in case I break down on the interstate. That about does it for me.
I've been saying the same thing for five years. But when HE says it, it's cool rather than antisocial.
Syd,
I hear you, brother. I get lost so easily.
Ms. Moon,
I can see the point of that. For emergency usage only.
Anonymous,
I have always said it too. I'm just antisocial, though, and proud of it.
What kills me is my 67 year old mother who now CAN'T leave the house without her cell phone. She managed just fine as we all did before cell phones. Yeah, I have one and yes, I love it, but I do not like the part where everyone can track you down. If you are stuck in traffic your boss can say "take a picture"...
