I must tell you that 40 years ago my precious kitty, Morris had rec urring bladder problems....He created bladder sand and couldn't pee. Awful....needed catheterization each time. After several episodes the vet told me the only sure cure was a sex change operation. (NO I am not kidding)
After the surgery (and the healing) he was one happy cat and so was I.
kitty sends her best to tom. we hope you feel better too! ohio is already depressing enough, you don't need any more stress.

Hope Tom is feeling better soon. Nothing worse than having a sick child and having to leave them at the vet.

I am a damn wreck. I cried like a baby when I had to leave Tom at the Vet's. I'm hoping I can go and get him tomorrow. They said he is passing urine again. Praise Jesus!

Thanks for all your kind comments and your concern about Tom, blog family.
It looks like I will be picking Tom up at some point today and bringing his ass home, where he belongs. I came into work early this morning so that I could leave early and take him home this afternoon. I will feel much better having him with me.
They are removing the catheter this morning and are going to wait and see if he pees on his own. If so, then I can go and pick him up.

I sure hope that he will be okay. Kitties get urinary tract issues easily. Hope he is purringly happy soon.
