It is all about the magnitude of these feelings because we all have them. Sometimes when you find yourself swimming against the current that the circuit breakers fail and sometimes folks surrender... doesn't mean they weren't brave or resilient... he just reached his limit and there was no more room for him to grow...
Maybe he took an early out and was perfectly okay with that. I think for some people that is their peace.
