Shit SB Says to the Viking at a Downtown Bar Before the Steelers Game on 9/11

If you didn't want to come back here, and I wasn't worried about embarrassing you, I would stand up right now and tell everybody to shut the fuck up. Seriously.

[Unbelievably, the stupid motherfuckers in the bar where we always go to watch Steelers games, talked through the 9/11 memorial presentation before the game. They even talked over Robert De Niro! What the fuck?! SB fucking bit her tongue SO HARD, it's a wonder it stayed attached. I wanted to slap some bitches around. To me, 9/11 is sacred, and I think it should be a national holiday so dumb disrespectful bitches can yak over the memorial presentations all day long.]

Screw the Steelers game....but I would have paid admission to watch you cut loose. :)

Happy shitty Monday Babe!

You know if they made it a national holiday the stores would just put up huge sales, and the day would just be another shopping trip day.

The lout behavior maybe explains why priests only give a sip of wine at communion, instead of a pitcher.

Taking a tangent from the post, I'm inclined to poo-poo pro football fandom (I know, elegant choice of pejorative) on the grounds that no one can really identify with a group of oversized, possibly underbrained guys frothing and fighting over an odd-shaped ball.

Except that Denny loves loves loves Dukie basketball and he's only 2 feet too short with the reflexes of a sloth. Which says that even a brilliant man is subject to passion.

And you're entitled to yours. I hope you & the Viking have a good time watching the games and the Steelers win all the ones that aren't played against Cowboys.

Nulaanne,
That is likely true, but it should be a national holiday to honor all the firemen and rescue workers--those who were lost that day and those who continue to do the thankless, underpaid work.

Firefighters are my heroes, and I makes no bones about it. They are the best of us.

Love,

SB

Kathleen,
The Viking is the Steelers fan. I just root for them because they're his team. My team is the Georgia Bulldogs. I have a very deep love for them, as does the Moms.

I love you. Thank you for reading me. Your comment about Denny made me laugh.
