I sure as fuck don't want it. One of the reasons I voted for Obama was because I thought he'd bring our folks back from over there, not just move them around. Yes, I know you don't agree, but I am pissed at him. I wouldn't even sign his damn birthday card this year.

It has to be the biggest waste of time (not to mention cash) war of modern times. What the FUCK we are doing in that country, not even trying to demolish the poppy crop I will never understand.
Have you noticed that EVERY TIME America gets involved in a drug-producing region, drug production spikes massively upwards shortly afterwards? It happened in the so-called Golden Triangle during and after the Vietnam War, it supposedly happened in South America with the cocaine trade though I know nothing about that. And it most certainly happened in Afghanistan. You know a few years ago Afghanistan's production of heroin actually surpassed world cocaine production! Now that is a ridiculously rampant poppy growing situation. And now they think some deliberate blight is at play... Well that remains to be seen. Whatever. I'm not much interested in opiates any more...
