Daughter got a huge chunk scraped out of her shin at volleyball practice, doing step ups onto wooden boxes. It's been 3 days and I'm still pukey just thinking about it, let alone the sight of it, which nurse mommy has seen way too much of this week. Aaak. I used to be just fine with gore until the kidlets came along. I'm getting too soft.
