Quote of the Damn Day: Robert Downey Jr.

I used to be so convinced that happiness was the goal, yet all those years I was chasing after it, I was unhappy in the pursuit. Maybe the goal really should be a life that values honor, duty, good work, friends and family.

He's getting pretty wise in his old age.

That is damn good advice.

And I like that kid's t-shirt. Must be his son? Looks a lot like him.

He gives me the horn.

Sarcastic Bastard said...

Yep, Indio. His son.

Me too, babe.

Cute kid.

Wise words but 99% of youth would never believe them anyway - along with 97% of their parents.
Their grandparents might.

I checked out all your posts earlier on my cellphone but it wouldn't let me make comments. Piece of shit.

Love you lots!

SB-- Love your "quotes of the damn day." I also love "I just like the damn picture, okay?"

Oh yeah--I am secretly fascinated by the UK so love all your links to their newspaper. I think I just might spend the rest of the week saying things like "wanker" and "brilliant." Ok, gotta go to the loo.

P.S. Love you, too.

He just gets better with age.
And his son, wow, gonna be a lady killer with those eyes!

Sarcastic Bastard said...

And I love you.

Glad you like the quotes and pictures. Thank you for reading. I love the English, too, and you can't beat their tabloids. Laugh.

Warrior Scout,
I am thrilled (seriously) that made your day. Much love.

Melly Mel,
Yep, dude is a stone fox. Kid's a chip off the old block.

Love to all my peeps,

Love RD jr. My favorite above all from the 80s brat packers. And I agree with Mel's Way above...he gets better with age.

Sarcastic Bastard said...

Yes it is.

Definitely the best brat packer. By far.

The end of the road is not the goal... the ROAD is the goal... (or at least that is what I've deluded myself to believe..!)

Amen to that. He sure has "grown up". Recovery does some amazing things.

Big Mark,
That is a very wise way to look at things.

Yes, it does. I was so worried Robert would not make it there for awhile. He is a gift.
