SB Idol: Dr. Johnny Fever
Just because I'm thinking of him this morning and because he was one of my heros growing up. I still watch the reruns of WKRP in Cincinnati every week.
I love the fact that Johnny's reaction time speeded up when he was drinking and the fact that he never got too worked up over anything except Jennifer. Also, he was cute damn it.
Loved watching this show! I remember Johnny always played these obscure rock songs, much to the manager's dismay. Then one day he played "The Long Run" by the Eagles and Andy (was that his name?) came in screaming "He played a hit! He played a hit!"
I am a Gen-X, lazy, manic-depressive bastard, with an eating disorder, OCD, and a propensity for alcoholism. I am basically hell to live with, but I enjoy red wine, Ritalin, reality TV, and disdainful cats. This description could also be useful as a personal ad for a dating service.

Want to hear something strange...My ex looked just like a younger version of him without the beard. Add a good two feet of long blonde hair.
Never said he wasn't a great looking guy. Just a mean one.
Thanks for the kind comments in my absence. It warmed my heart to know I was missed. (Hugs)Indigo
Indigo,
Hearing from you is the highlight of my day, and I mean that. So good to hear from you!
I hope all is well. Happy 4th!
I definitely miss your comforting presence. I hope you will be around more soon.
Lots of love to you and love to Pickles also,
SB
Oh god, I haven't thought about that show in forever.

Hope you have a rocking 4th, SB!
Luv ya, Jenn
It was a good show. It really was. Wasn't Les Nessman on that show? I remember the promo turkey drop episode.
Good times.
Alcohol IS supposed to speed up reaction times... but only the first ONE glass of wine. After that it's all downhill!!
by "glass" I mean small 175 ml measure. not flower-vase-full .. (!!)
Ms. Moon,
Yes, Les Nessman was indeed on that show. The turkey drop was great, man.
Love you,
SB
Is that the guy from "head of the class"?
sKILLz,
I'm not sure whether he was in that or not, sKILLz. It's possible. I only know him from WKRP.
Thanks for reading!
Love to you,
SB
