Very sad to see in hindsight a young person go down such a dangerous road.

Speechless. Horrified.

She'd had been better off if she had been an athlete. And I don't believe for one second that the dancing did not cost the Mom her marriage. I say that because dancing is a consuming pursuit and though it happens with boys and their fathers in sports, I think chauvanistically speaking, when women chase something like this for their daughters, it drives a wedge between the parents.

The aesthetic of ballet is so medieval. And once a dancer gets into her head the brainwashing of the producers and choreographers, they accept whatever idoicy that they spout.

Even when she made the 'A' team, they still kept on her, prolly even worse, about her weight. It was so ingrained in her to purge after she eat, even her last supper prolly was puked up.

A cheerleader or ballet... two things to never let your daughter do...

Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be dancers.
