I'm doing very well
I can block out the present and the past now
I know by now you think I should have straightened myself out
Thank you, drop dead

[I was listening to this song, Something Is Squeezing My Skull, on the way into work this morning. It suited my mood perfectly.]

I'd never heard of Morrissey until a few years back (not that I hadn't heard the Smiths or anything - but I just never knew I had as I never pay attention to who sings what - it's like knowing about the Rolling Stones and knowing Satisfaction but not knowing the two are linked. Yup - that was me.) I was reading this book called The Wrong Boy (or something along that line) about this kid who was obsessed with Morrissey. I googled him then. Hilarious book - you'd love it.
Sweet-tongued devil, isn't he?
Love you, dear. Good morning!
The past doesn't exist anymore, except in my memory/imagination, so I find it pretty easy to block out whenever I want. But the present, that's something I'm trying to hang on to...
Jeannie,
I will look that book up, love. Thanks for the tip. Morrissey really does mostly appeal to adolescent males, and me. Laugh.
Ms. Moon,
Good morning, dearly beloved.
Denny,
I find it sometimes helps greatly to ignore the present. Laugh. Thanks for reading moi.
Love to all of you, my beloved blog family,
SB
That means he just lives in the future, right? Interesting concept.
Great song...I'd appreciate that today too.
