Shit SB Says to the Moms
There's the house where the little 90 year old lady was out last winter, struggling to shovel her driveway. I didn't stop to help her, mind you. I just enjoyed watching her struggle. The task was practically Herculean.
I make you proud, don't I?

Hell, woman, that was me! Next time stop and help and then we can have a few tipples together. Love you!
This reminds me of the 'joke'...
I was down the supermarket checkout with two trolleys packed full with my weekly shop and (mostly) supply of booze.
A little old lady comes up behind me. She's only got a carton of milk.
'Is that all you've got, love?' I asked her.
'Yes' she replied.
So I did the decent thing. I said..
'If I were you love, I'd fuck off to another queue. I'm going to be ages'.
Like the time a woman I knew was making a quilt out of Crown Royal bags for her daughter. The daughter had given her the bags. There were enough to make a king-sized quilt. The mom said, "Makes a mother proud."
Honestly, I think the old lady would have been a little insulted. She knew that there was no one else to shovel the snow and if she wanted it done, she needed to get in gear and get to it.
I would be proud of you to. Let that lady get her snow moved on her own. She doesn't rush to help you shovel your snow, does she..?
Giggle xx
Jeannie,
You, I'd help. There are few people I'd rather have a drink or three with.
White Rabbit,
I love you. I just do.
Ms. Moon,
What a great quilting idea. I think you should submit that idea to Pioneer Woman.
Big Mark,
I adore you. We are birds of a damn feather.
Ruby,
Much love to you. Hope the boys are doing well.

I'll stop my car and run through a flooded ditch to try to catch a stray cat but I would likely drop my blinds if I spotted one of my neighbors passed out in their driveway.
We may not make the moms proud but we make each other proud.
