There wasn't a goddamn thing wrong with Kirk Murphy, but there was something definitely wrong with the people in his life who tried to shame him out of being who he was uniquely born to be. As far as I'm concerned, they murdered him by killing his spirit.

Cruel times. One of my best friends as a kid was effeminate. The neighborhood boys did the beatings. It didn't stop him becoming gay. I'm sure it never stopped the millions of boys throughout history either. Hopefully, things are changing now.
Even if "gay" were broken, we all are broken somehow.
