Shit SB Says

I don't believe in evil. I just believe in choices, and some choices work out better than others. Ignorant simple frightened people invent labels like good and evil, God and Satan. They feel safer when they can shove everything into a simplistic neat little category, when the nature of life itself is anything but simple. I find this tendency very tragic. This simpification causes much of the ugliness and the formidable problems of the world.

God. That is so profoundly true.
If we can put evil into a box and call it "the other" we can deny that it resides within all of us, such as it is.
We are all things, good and evil, saint and sinner, and the choices we make can combine all of that.
I love you, Ms. Bastard-Beloved. Good morning.

I'm not so sure babe. I've known people who made regular bad choices and I've been present when evil was being done and it's almost just like the movies when a shadow falls except that there is no shadow. It's a rare thing to be sure but creepy as shit.

And it wasn't my imagination either. I didn't know that what I felt was true until months later.

Jeannie,
Your comment made me feel sick to my stomach. I don't like to think of you EVER being around something like that.

I love you dearly.

Cat torturers are evil.

If I ruled the world, they'd get what they give out, which would not be evil because it would be a result of their choice.
