A Heartwarming Story About a Guy and a Bear

Follow this link http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1174259/Meet-Brutus-800lb-grizzly-bear-likes-eat-meals-dinner-table.html to some pretty remarkable pictures of a guy and his unique friendship with a REALLY BIG grizzly bear in Britain's Daily Mail today.

SB just loves grizzly bears!

SB, cute story. Love the pic of the bear in the pool. But I'm still haunted by the film I saw last year about that Grizzly Man guy (forgot his name) who lived with them for years until they killed him. I know it's a different case entirely...but...

In any case, I agree, the bears are beautiful, though I don't think I'd want one at my dinner table. Peace...Jenn

I saw that film, too, Jenn. You're right--animals are always wild deep down no matter how they are raised.

Thanks for reading, Jenn. I still love your site.

Best,

SB

Like that chimp that ate some lady's face recently? I hope this bear doesn't go crazy like that. This seems more like a big ass dog. Adorable story and pictures! I have to mention, when I saw the second photo with the couple, I thought that lady was photoshopped in there because she looks huge. Is her face really that huge?

NO FREAKING WAY???
If this is true and this is the way it is I REALLY hope that everything continues to stay that way.

You KNOW there are many people who are saying "oh its just a mater of time before he turns on him and his family"

This is something really cool!
Great find SB!
Stay Up

If you ever have the opportunity to see the CBC episode of The Nature of Thing titled "Edge of Eden, " please do. It's the show that turned my thinking around about Grizzlies. They're wonderful, intelligent creatures. I think we have a lot to learn about all animals, without allowing our preconceived notions to get in the way.

Thanks so much for your kind words about my raccoon babies post. Very much appreciated. :)
