I was a total vegetarian for six years when I was younger, but I got hungry for a McDonald's fish sandwich and fell off the wagon from there. Next came a Quarter Pounder. After that, it was anybody's ballgame.
Now, I see cows grazing in a field, and I am tempted to stop the car and get a fork and the old A1 out.

Haha...I have similar story. at the moment I am trying to stay on vegan diet ( as I like to do these fads) but if a steak is offered I wouldn't turn it down! ;0) xx
Thanks for your kind comments...I appreciate them. X
I could never, ever be a vegetarian. As much as I love animals, I love them in my belly even more.
Chic Mama,
Vegan is especially hard. I love cheese MORE than meat, personally.
You are loved.
SB
Dish,
I hear you, friend.
Love,
SB
I'll eat vegetarian dishes without hesitating, but I've never stayed away from meat-you get around a steak on a grill, smell the meat cooking, and try to tell yourself "I'll just have a bowl of water chestnuts"...not gonna fucking happen..
I could almost be a vegetarian except that I don't like meat alternatives any more than I like meat. I personally don't have a problem with killing animals to survive. I DO have a problem with human greed - idiots that seem to think they should have a 28 oz steak at every meal. It seems to be an all or nothing choice out there. I prefer to live in the grey zone. A little of this, a little of that.
I hear you Mr. M.!
Jeannie, My mom says the same thing. We eat too damn much meat, especially in the U.S. It's sort of disgusting.
Love to both of you,
SB
I am a vegetarian once again. I did it for 8 years and am now back...no more moo for me.
I agree with Jeannie and Moms. I like meat. But I try not to eat too much of it.
i was damn near vegan for years, did the soy thing with milk, gave up eggs but would not could not manage to give up cheese.
i used to love fake chicken nuggets but mr. m got me to truly appreciate the wonder of a well mariniated chicken.
sb does the bone-in thing creep you out? i get pretty grossed out by it still. i think it's latent guilt or something.

Miss A.,
No, the fat in meat sometimes grosses me out though. I never eat steak anymore, but I am a chicken wing fanatic. It's a wonder I don't turn into a damn chicken wing, I eat so much of them.
I COULD NEVER EVER GIVE UP CHEESE. UH-HUH. NO WAY.
Love,
SB
im thinking of stopping eating animals cause i like them and they are cute, but i need meat so my alternative is to start eating humans, i hate humans so ill have no probs there. im a genius.
