Quote of the Damn Day: from My Hero Harvey Milk

“It takes no compromising to give people their rights. It takes no money to respect the individual. It takes no survey to remove repressions.”
--Harvey Milk, in a 1973 speech during his first unsuccessful run for supervisor

I love you Harvey, and the good you did lives on after you.

That's a great quote. I admire Harvey Milk as well. One person really can make a difference. And the fact that he was murdered, as tragic as it is, helped galvanize the LGBT community. Thanks for the post, SB!
