More OUTRAGE

At one point while watching If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don't Rise, John Kerry, who I happen to agree with on a lot of things, mentioned that the conditions for the BP oil spill were caused by the Bush administration's deregulation of the oil industry. Kerry's statement really pissed me off. Goddamn motherfucker, I'm tired of the fucking politicians blaming the other party. Houston, we've got a damn problem here. Blaming doesn't fix one iota of the goddamn shit. Let's get on with it and find a damn solution. Those fuckers in Congress act like a goddamn bunch of 5 year olds on a playground. I'm sick of the whole damn lot of them. Both parties suck and they can kiss my ass.

Unfortunately, in matters of this sort, it does.

The machine does not do well in going back over things. That is why the constitution has scarcely been admended in all its years. I still blame plane snafu's on Reagan for breaking up the ATC and the effect of deregulation can be seen all over the industry.

The screwed up Patriot Act is another form of Government regulation that politicians admit they missed the ball on and still won't go over and address.

A real leader would man up and fix the crap that predecessors messed over... but then that leaves all sorts of open windows...

They always screw you in the drive thru.

Amen. I see lots of ranting and raving lately, and not a damn bit of progress, solutions or fixes.
We are in a quagmire of epic proportions, it seems.

Keep calling it like you see it, my friend. Somebody has to tell the truth.

Thanks, love. I appreciate your comments and support.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

You make a painfully true point. Both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party SUCK. The liberals want the taxpayers to pay for programs that entitle people to things they haven't worked for, which will bankrupt the country and ruin the spirit of free enterprise. The conservatives want business to be free to do whatever they damn well please. And if we don't establish rules and guidelines, that's exactly what they'll do. They will ruin the planet before we figure out how to colonize outer space.

And BOTH parties engage in POLITICS. Which is not LEADERSHIP.

The only appropriate response is outrage, and I wish there were a solution, a better way to run this railroad.

It's democracy but it's not working all that well at the present time.

By the way, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL COMMENTS.

Denny,
Thank YOU for reading and commenting. You and Kathleen are very dear to me.

The political system certainly is not working well currently. Everything is a damn mess. Let's ride them all out of town on rails!

Love,
