oh my gawd they are so cool......once, a long time ago, I was having dinner with a friend in our favourite west village bistro and in they came for dessert!! it seemed so .....normal....and then when they left you could here everyone muttering 'spinaich in my teeth' by way of explanation...and my friend was humming doop-dodo doop dodo........!!

I saw Laurie perform 20 years ago in San Fran and was so blown away by her. She's amazing. Then I discovered she married Lou Reed and thought, perfection.
Lou left his last wife over the "children or not" issue. Sylvia wanted them; Lou did not.
But yep, coolest couple ever. Seen Laurie live a couple of times and Lou live once. Was up in Soho a couple of months ago shopping around and actually kept an eye out for them. No luck, tho.
