Quote by Tom Ford

Truly beautiful things make me sad because I know they are going to fade. When I see a beautiful 20-year-old boy or girl—and they are breathtaking—I am filled with a kind of sadness. But maybe they are beautiful because we know they are not permanent and they are in a kind of transition.

Second this quote is so true.

It's a nice sentiment. Beauty is rare. Lasting beauty even rarer. I can't say it makes me sad - I would say it makes me peaceful.

A. Everything natural is beautiful.
B. Everything natural is transitory, in flux. A given. It may be tempting to feel sad about life, but the other alternative is appreciation and celebration...Glass over-flowing...

Is it just me or does that sound kinda creepy... kinda 'it-puts-the-lotion-on-the-skin'?

Kissa,
Yeah, I thought it was very effective. I also think he's right. Beauty almost always makes me sad.

Beauty to me is breath taking. And the longer it lasts, the more I appreciate it.
