I love Kanye West. Maybe it's because both of us have anger issues. Maybe it's because he's one good-looking talented motherfucker. Maybe it's because he amuses me. Or maybe it's because the first time I ever saw him was on the celebrity telethon for Hurricane Katrina relief, where he startled Mike Myers by saying, "George Bush doesn't care about black people." I will always be grateful to him for saying that. I started laughing and couldn't stop. The shocked look on Mike Myers face was priceless. A little further into George W. Bush's tenure, when discussing what Kanye said, the Moms said, "Actually, George Bush doesn't care about anybody. It isn't just black people." A-fucking-men to that shit.

I'm not particularly fond of Kanye. He's talented but his lack of humility disturbs me. He's not that damned talented. However, I'm with you that the look on Myers face was priceless.
