Do NOT Friend Request My Ass on Facebook

I signed up for Facebook once to read one of my stepkids' pages. DO NOT FRIEND REQUEST MY ASS. I keep getting requests for that shit (popularity is a curse I have to bear), and I think Facebook is retarded. So is Myspace. I will never be a Facebooker. Not NOW. Not EVER.

Facebook can suck my ass. It's for socially retarded people.

[Go ahead and let me have it in the comments section. I know it's coming.]

I'm not on Facebook at all. I have no desire to have people I barely knew in high school contacting me and pretending to be my friend now. They're just noisy assholes!

Jeannie,
Good news! I still love you.

Melly Mel,
Exactly. I'd have liked you in high school. I was the mean kid, but I liked anybody who was honest and themselves.

That hurts my heart that you think I am socially retarded, SB.

Dish,
You'll get over it. Let's call you an exception to the rule.

Laugh.

I love Facebook. And I also enjoy being made fun of by S.B. Because in my family if people are proper and polite, it means they don't really like you. Go figure.

Ohhhhhh. I see! You're trying to reverse psychology our asses! It's obvious you're embarrassed by your lack of FB Family. You want to drum up business without being overt. God knows, you never ever come on strong...

How do you really feel darling? :-)

Yea, I concur.

Hey. Guess what? I totally agree with you. Duh.
I tried 'em. I hated it.
I signed off.
Done.
Love you, honey.

I like facebook. The secret is to ignore all the invites from high school friends. They are "friend collectors" and they are just nosy bitches. I have about 50 friends, not 500, which makes it much nicer. It's just easier to get in touch with people that way sometimes, when you are a phone-a-phobe and generally anti-social.

Agreed. AGREED. Always nice to come across fellow facebook haters. We're an increasingly rare breed.
